Ted Kaczynski's letter to Anonymous on his reading interests
Thanks for your letter ... The "Manifesto" is properly called "Industrial Society and its Future", or ISAIF for short. Nearly all versions of ISAIF that are available on the Internet or in print are mutilated with numerous gross errors, including the omission of parts of sentences and even of whole sentences. To my knowledge only one correct version of ISAIF is publicly available in English, and you'll find it in my book Technological Slavery, published in 2010 by

But you can probably get the book more cheaply from amazon.com.
ISAIF is in the public domain ...
You ask about my past reading list. What do you expect me to do? List everything I've ever read? The books cited in Tech Slavery will give you a sample of my past reading. You also ask about my present reading list. OK, the Analects of Confucius (just finished); Zoltan Haraszti, John Adams and the Prophets of Progress (half way through).
Yours,
Ted Kaczynski
